That's exactly what we hope to do at Steve's Bark, Bath and Beyond--because we love pets! Whether you choose to have us pamper your pooch, or maybe you want to bring them in to our self-service doggie wash, pampering is all part of the package. While visiting you can check out our Pet Boutique in which we carry high quality, adorable dog clothing, leashes, shampoos, supplements, toys and more for dogs and cat, or maybe you are on a tight budget and are looking for gently recycled pet items...either way, we have it all.
The decision to board your dog in a standard kennel or in our cage-free environment is based on the level of physical and emotional comfort you want for your dog. Years ago standard boarding kennels with rows of dog runs were the only option. Times have changed and cage-free boarding is a welcome alternative for conscientious dog owners. Many of our first-time clients have told us that they have finally found a place where they can board their dog and actually feel good about it. Some of our clients board their dogs on a regular basis just so their dogs can enjoy a fun weekend!
Cage-free playtime is now being offered at some kennels. Important questions to ask: Is playtime unlimited or is it just a few minutes per day? Is playtime included with the basic boarding rate or is it an extra expense? Will my dog be playing on soft grass and/or snow or on hard concrete floors or gravel? Will my dog be locked in a cage when not involved in playtime?
Your dog is a member of your family, a loyal companion who gives constant unconditional love to you. We can come to your home each day and take care of your pet while you are away. We can also provide you with additional services to make your home looked lived in while you are gone. We also can come visit each day to take your dog out for a walk while you are at work. We do have Sunday pick up and drop off times for your convenience. Times must be made prior to boarding.
